Subject: An application for increasing number of books in the college library.
Sir.
With due respect, we would like to inform you that our college library has a great want of some necessary books and magazines. Good books on communicative English are quite insufficient in number. Again, books especially written for higher secondary classes are almost unavailable. We need good books on communicative English and fundamental grammar and dictionaries. We also would be much benefited if there were more books on our subjects of science, arts and commerce.
We, therefore, hope that you would be sympathetic to us and kindly provide the library with the above mentioned books and other relevant books of recent publication.
