Subject: An application for setting up a canteen in the college premises.
Sir,
I, on behalf of the students of your college, would like to inform you that we have been suffering much for not having a canteen at our college campus. You are well aware that there is no good restaurant or confectionery nearby. There are many students who come to college from a long distance without having their breakfast. Science students are the worst sufferers. Sometimes they need to stay the whole day. It is really difficult for us to stay without any tiffin for such long hours.
In the above circumstances, we solicit the favor of your taking necessary steps to set up a canteen in the college campus as early as possible.
