Subject: An application for opening a relief camp for the flood affected people.
Sir,
With due respect, we would like to inform you that flood has recently affected our area. Rupnagor is a low lying area and devastating flood has caused a severe havoc to the life and property of the people. Many houses have been washed away, roads have been damaged, crops have been damaged and different diseases such as cholera, diarrhoea, malaria have broken out. People are suffering for want of pure drinking water, food and cloth. So we want to help the sufferers. We want to open a relief camp in our college premises so that we can collect relief goods and send it for the flood affected people.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to open a relief camp in our college premise as soon as possible and help the affected people.
