Student 2 : Well, there are four members in my family including me.
Student 1 : In my family we are five people.

Student 1 : My mother. She is the best cook I’ve ever known.

Student 1 : But we clean our house ourselves. Each person has separate duties.

Student 1 : I clean my own room and help my mother wash dishes after dinner.
Student 2 : What more can you do to help your family?
Student 1 : I can wash in clothes, help my father in the garden and help my younger brother do his homework.
Student 2 : Thanks. From now on I’ll try to help my family too.

Q1 : What are the household chores you usually do?
Ans: Usually we clean our room, wash our own clothes and wash our plates after eating.
Q2 : What else can you do?
Ans: We can help our mothers in kitchen, our fathers in cleaning the house, etc.
Q3 : Do you think there should be specific household chores for boys and girls?
Ans: No, I don’t think so. Anybody can do any type of work. There is no shame in it.

Ans: After a fruitful discussion we found some reasons why all the members of a family should household chores:
1. All the members of the family can be aware of the duties and responsibilities in a family.
2. They can feel that no work is less important that the other.
3. They can maintain a cordial relationship among them.
