Deleting the Bumble app from your phone doesn’t mean your Bumble account is deleted.
Here’s what happens when you remove the app:
1. Your Profile Stays Active
- Even if you delete the app, your Bumble profile remains visible to others.
- Bumble still shows your last known location and activity status until you deactivate your account.
2. Matches and Messages Are Saved
- If you reinstall the app and log back in, all your matches, messages, and profile settings will still be there.
3. Subscriptions Keep Running
- If you have Bumble Boost, Premium, or Spotlight subscriptions, they will continue even if the app is deleted.
- To cancel a subscription, you must do it through the App Store or Google Play Store.
4. No Notifications
- Once the app is deleted, you won’t receive push notifications or messages from Bumble.
- However, messages from matches will still show up when you reinstall the app.
How to Fully Delete Your Bumble Account:
If you want to permanently remove your Bumble account, follow these steps:
- Open the Bumble app.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Follow the prompts to confirm your account deletion.
After you delete your account:
- Your profile, matches, and messages will be permanently erased.
- You will need to create a new account if you want to use Bumble again.
Why Delete the App?
Some people delete the app temporarily to take a break from dating, while others prefer to switch platforms. If you’re concerned about privacy or notifications, deleting the app is a good option. Just remember, your account and activity remain unless you fully deactivate it.
