Sir,
With due respect, we beg to state that we, the inhabitants of Banani Residential Area are suffering from the inundation problem. The area where we live is undoubtedly an important and sophisticated area in Dhaka city. But it is a matter of sorrow that every year in the beginning of rainy season it is overflowed. Because the drainage system of the area is very unplanned. When it rains, the rainwater creates standing pools of water everywhere and creates an odd condition. People living in the area cannot move because of mud and dirty water. So it is a crying need to develop the drainage system immediately for the convenience of the general people living in this area.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take necessary steps to solve the problem as soon as possible.
