Sir,
I have the honour to state that I am a first year student of your college. I could not attend the classes from the 15th to 19th of this month because I was bed ridden being attacked with influenza. Now, I have recovered and I hope I will be able to attend the classes regularly.
I, therefore, request the favour of your kindness to grant me leave of absence for those days only.
