Subject: An application for relief for the flood affected people.
Sir,
I, on behalf of the people of Saihata Union under your upazilla, would like to let you know about the sufferings of flood affected people of our area and eagerly expect your kind step. Saihata Union Parishad is a low lying area and this year the devastating flood has caused a severe havoc to the life and property of the people. Many houses have been washed away roads have been damaged standing crops have been destroyed and diseases like cholera, diarrhoea, malaria etc. have broken out in an epidemic form. People are passing days without food and pure drinking water. More than twenty thousand people are spending nights under the open sky.
In the above circumstances, I fervently seek your kind help to save the lives of the flood affected people by sending sufficient relief, We shall be highly grateful to you for your act of kindness.
